Madison wins individual, ensemble awards at state one-act play competition
By ELISA SAND, Staff Reporter 02/08/2010
Madison's one-act cast earned some individual recognition and an outstanding ensemble award at the State One-Act Contest in Brandon this past weekend.

Madison performed "Midnight Wax" by Don Swartz in which the owner and employees of a wax museum host a reporter, who spends the night at the museum to gather information for a feature story.

Receiving outstanding individual awards were Josh Vosberg, Quinton Nelson, Emily Caron, Stephanie Jarrett and SaRena Freet.

Receiving an outstanding ensemble award were students portraying wax characters in the museum: the Headless Horseman (Rebecca Sunde), Red Death (Megan Bordewyk), Mr. Hyde (Mara Stroud), Prince of Darkness (Avery Comp), Witch (Abi Johnson) and Grim Reaper (Kallyn Bloom).
