Firemen called to Midstates
By ELISA SAND, Staff Reporter 07/27/2010
The Madison Volunteer Fire Department was responded to a call at Midstates Glass early Tuesday afternoon.

Firemen were called to the scene at 12:30 p.m. Madison Fire Chief Jerry Johnson said that some gas which had spilled on the company's riding lawnmower ignited when employees started it to mow the lawn.

Primary damage was to the mower itself. The business did fill with smoke, but Johnson said that he didn't believe there was any structural damage.
